Speed Run Tips
Pass your evaluation in 2-3 trading days. High-risk, high-reward for experienced traders with a proven edge. If you're new, start with the Beginner Path instead.
Warning: Speed running has a high failure rate. You will blow more accounts than you pass. This only makes mathematical sense when evaluations are cheap (80%+ off sales) and you have a 60%+ win rate.
The Math Behind Speed Runs
Day 1 target: $1,500 (50% of target)
Day 2 target: $1,500 (remaining 50%)
Position size: 5-8 micro NQ contracts ($20/point each = $100-160 per NQ point)
Needed move: ~10-15 NQ points per day (NQ moves 200+ points daily)
You only need to catch 5-7% of the daily NQ range.
Best Sessions for Speed Runs
Opening Drive
Highest volatility. NQ can move 50-100 points in 30 minutes. Best for breakout strategies.
Afternoon Push
Second wind of volatility. Often reverses morning direction. Good for mean-reversion.
Economic Data
CPI, NFP, GDP releases. Massive moves but check if your firm allows news trading.
